AIDE Board Members were invited to Rare Disease Day organised by FEDER (Federación Española de Enfermedades Raras) which took place under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Letizia of Spain, on 13 March 2018. Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alfonso Dastis gave a speech on this special day as well as FEDER President Juan Carrión Tudela.

AIDE supported FEDER after the successful Fundraising Gala in 2017.

Rare Disease Day 2018 aims to raise awareness with policy makers and the public of rare diseases and of their impact on the lives of patients, and to reinforce their importance as a public health priority.
